A monument Dedication Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Atco American Legion Post 311.  The ceremony will honor Waterford Township native Lance Corporal Jon T. Hicks Jr., who was killed in action in Iraq on September 10, 2007.  The Hicks family and friends have requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Waterford Township War Memorial Fund in memory of Jon T. Hicks Jr. 

    In addition to the monument dedication, the Waterford Township War Memorial Committee (WTWMC) and the Atco American Legion Post 311 will be dedicating the new pavilion, which was constructed by the WTWMC on the American Legion grounds to honor and benefit our veterans.
